Unit 158748 normally arrives with 2M19 from Westbury and later departs with 2M28 from platform 3 but because of the stricken 1B17 occupying platform 4 it arrived [4 late] and left [2 late] from bay platform 2. Copyright
The first photo of 59101 leaving Swindon East Loop [having been there according to Real Train Times for 59 minutes!] leaves 26 Late. The second photo was taken by Ken who was almost caught unawares photographing the train in Platform 2! Interesting contrast in lighting!! Copyright

Hello Roger, here is a picture from Michael Adams of class 50009 ‘Conqueror’ leaving Salisbury on 15 June 1989 with the 13.18 service to London Waterloo. The loco. did not survive into preservation and was scrapped at Old Oak Common in February 1991. Copyright Michael Adams
