Saturday Clay

My wife and I were having a trundle in the car through mid Cornwall last Saturday and as we crossed the level crossing at Lostwithiel I was astounded to see a clay train! I didn't know they ran on Saturdays. Here's a shot from next to the signal box. I filmed 66120 going over the crossing.
I love the pictures of the Wadebridge wanderer rail tour that Roger Winnen has been sending in. I noticed in the pictures Roger sent you of the 50 at Falmouth that the 50 is attached to some 16 ton mineral wagons rather than coaches in one of the photos. Was it shunting on the same day or did a photo of a freight train get mixed in? All fantastic stuff, keep up the good work, it is much appreciated.

A wealth of detail including Inter -City type DMU;signal box and signals which suggest a junction in the distance.
I note - with a magnifying glass - that there are some Mark 1 sleeping cars in the siding on the left.
You will see the Castle has a full load of coal in the tender as if about to start a journey, perhaps to London.
My own thoughts are West Wales but I do not think it is Carmarthen or Swansea.
Any ideas please?
In the meantime, enjoy the picture.
Thanks, all the best,
Michael Forward.
