Class 50s at Swindon
Dennis Clark
Hi all, During my travels today I went to Swindon to see 50008 hauling 50021 from Lydney to Eastleigh Arlington. They paused at Swindon station for a while before continuing on their journey. I caught up with them again at Didcot but those pictures are still on my camera so I have encoded a few from Swindon taken on my phone, Regards, Dennis

A King at Penzance
Michael Forward

Picture
I found this print amongst some pictures at my late brother's home in Penzance . It shows 6024 King Edward 1 nearing Penzance with 'The Penzance Pirate' railtour on 19 September 1998.The Mount appears mystically through the exhaust. Us spotters there in the 1950s could only dream about such a thing! Copyright Michael Forward.
Many thanks Michael, a great photograph from your brothers collection.
