From Guy Vincent: Sat 19.07.1975  33012 Route Code 62 (Waterloo via Salisbury) Most likely one from 1O10 1008;  1O12 1057; or 1O14 1225 departure from Exeter.

From Guy Vincent: Sat 19.07.1975  D1047 1B15 0830 PAD - Paignton (due EXD 1118) OR 1B25 0930 PAD - Penzance due to pass Exeter non-stop at 12/13. I favour the former working as the train is at platform rather than on the down through line.

Guy Vincents photo: Finally, a shot of the tools of the trade! Indispensable even in the age of the internet.
Many thanks indeed, Paul, another smashing set of photographs.

And as always, thanks very much to our resident headcode detective Guy Vincent for filling in the gaps - much appreciated, Guy!

In some typical Cornish autumnal weather, the railhead treatment train with 66179 + 66154 earns its money blasting the grease, leaves and filth off the rails as it passes Respryn on 18.10.2024. Railway photography isn't all sunshine and blue skies! Copyright Jon Hird.
