Masbury Station S&DJR

We're currently staying at the former S&DJR station in the Station's rebuilt Signal Box, which is available to book via airbnb. Thoroughly recommended too. Masbury station site is private and not open to the public unless staying at the Signal Box. The station opened 20.7.1874, was renamed Masbury Halt 26.9.1938 and closed with the S&DJR 7.3.1966

Me and my companions were onboard 156 & 042 from Plymouth the day before - Lots of regular banging from below an UID trailer suggests it has either headed to the wheel lathe or been taken out for inspection resulting in this short form on the 6th.
