Bound for warmer climes perhaps?

Hope you are both well. I am just recovering from what Derriford Hospital have termed a 'heart event' which meant I was stuck in there for a week. I must say, though, they looked after me superbly.
Anyway, Barbara and I were driving home from a swimming lesson when I noticed these two power cars on the sidings, de-named and de-branded. Wondering where they may be off to (Mexico? Nigeria?), we parked up and shuffled down for a closer look.
One of them turned out to be 43162, formerly Caerhays Castle, but, more interestingly, the other was 43160 Castle-an-Dinas which, as far as I was aware has been hidden within Laira for many months. I certainly hadn't been able to track it down, and it was a welcome sight as the last 'Castle' I needed to complete the 'set'. Just a pity it was 'naked'. I think I can now retire from train spotting.
I only had my phone camera with me but here they are if of interest. By the way the depot clock still insists it is 10 past 10, whatever the time of day.
Kind regards
Trevor T
PS: As I have been 'in works', apologies if someone else has already reported on this.

The boiler, complete with smokebox and chimney, has now been remounted within the frames. (See my previous post May 18 2024 showing the boiler on an adjacent flat wagon - click here).
This is Manning Wardle No 2018 of 1922 with 18in cylinders and a tractive effort of 22,500 lbs, weighing in at 52 tons. A far cry from their lightweight contractor’s locomotives that frequently appear in old photographs!
