Re: Par to Park Royal Freightliner

Further to yesterday's comprehensive response from Guy, two pics of Friary goods yard and FLT taken at 1.40pm on Wednesday 22 July 1970 "soon to close" according to my notes; and one pic of a Class 47 passing new allotments at Stoggy Lane, Hemerdon at 5.07pm on Tuesday 28 July 1970.

On a dull December day the red container on the 15,25 Par to Park Royal Freightline gives a little colour. The train is headed by Class 47 1587 Dec 69 - Copyright Mike Roach.

Last built 43198 leads the delayed 1014 Plymouth - Penzance across Brea Embankment. This was one of the first services west of the day, following a line closure due to a collapsed badger set in the Hayle area.
