Chelfham Viaduct Open Weekend
Simon Hickman

I couldn’t see any pictures of the Chelfham Viaduct open weekend on your excellent website yet, so thought I’d send you some. I’m sure you will have better contributions, but if not, these at least give a record.

The weekend was a joint event between the Historic Railways Estate, part of National Highways and owners of the viaduct, and the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway who own the Chelfham Station site and have ambitions to reopen the route.

Some great photos of an unusual event - many thanks indeed, Simon. Hopefully we can one day see trains crossing the viaduct once again.
