Good Morning Keith
Near perfect sunny conditions on Saturday morning was an opportunity not to be wasted to photograph HSTs on 'the Londons'  before the IEP replacement starts in July.
           Regards   Clive Smith
Many thanks Clive

Pinhoe, this morning.
David Tozer
Keith, Yes, 0613 on a Sunday morning and the rare sight of a Colas Class 66 Pinhoe. After dropping ballast 66847 works the 0642 6C03 Pinhoe - Westbury with fifteen ballast hoppers. It was held at Exmouth Junction for a while when I caught up with it - pity about the bushes. Dave

Many thanks David - up late today!!

A real Gem of a picture taken from Five Arches Viaduct where the GWR main line crosses over the very short branch from St Blazey Yard to the herbour. An infrequent movement these days. This marvellous photograph had kindly been sent in by Adrian Vaughan is of a 63xx on a china clay working. Copyright H.J. Ashman FRP. Adrian Vaughan Collection

The text on the photo of the 22 leaving Par Docks indicate that today this is not a frequent event. I just wanted to clarify that currently JIA wagons are loaded at Par every week, usually on a Wednesday morning (at around 08:00). I hope that this helps potential photographers. Regards Andrew Keast                Many thanks Andrew.

We see 6806 Blackwell Grange crossing 5 arches bridge. Included in this most interesting view is Par Bridge Signal box. This box which closed on the 6th October 1968 controlled traffic to and from the harbour and also the line from St Blazey to Fowey. Evidence of the position of the 'Fowey line' is the smoke stained arch to the right. Copyright Peter Barlow, Adrian Vaughan Collection
