Hi Roger Iwas over at Yeovil Jct today for test train 1Q14, Reading to Salisbury, via Exeter, unusually running on a Wednesday. Powered by PCs 43277 and 43301, It departed Reading abt 2 hours late , arriving at Yeovil Railway Heritage Cntr siding, also 2 Hours L After 45 min it regained the main line proceding to Axminster where it was terminated., enabling it to return to Salisbury in its normal path Please see photos taken at YVJ. The GWR IET set 802106 (Paddington in Peru) has, until today, eluded me but I caught up with it this morning at 10-59 looking very clean and tidy working 1A80 PZ to Paddington along the sea wall just beyond Teignmouth. It’s good to see the nose cone in place too. 05.03.2025, copyright Martin Scane.
