Charlton Road Overbridge
Andrew Triggs

Hi Roger/Keith/Jon

Visited the excellent location of Charlton Road Overbridge, just before Cogload Junction, over the last 2 days with the enclosed shots for CRS, it really is a great and classic location for Rail photography.

Devon delights - 01.06.2024
Jon Hird

As well as the obvious and well-covered railtours to Devon on Saturday, there was also the added interest of class 37 37703 making her first revenue-earning trips over the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway, as well as GWR 'Manor' 7827 working trains.

I managed to drive into Paignton via a bit of an unsual route to avoid the chaos which was the town, thanks to the air show!

We also saw some planes! Not really railway-related, and not a subject I know much about, but some may enjoy them. Plus, they're the reason behind one of the railtours - perhaps we can stretch to that as a tenuous link?

Taunton Bus Running Day
Martin Duff

The TV& GWOT annual bus running day in Taunton was held today. (02.06.24).

There were some appearances by Bristol VR buses, connecting with WSR services.

A few photos taken today when I was in Bishops Lydeard box.

Many thanks Martin.

For more info on the railways diesel festival (which looks set to be an incredible few days), please click here. Lots of guest locos along with the home fleet are set to work an intensive timetable, well worth a visit.
