Summer Solstice Sleeper

This years summer solstice fell on a Sunday, which meant that the up sleeper was due to depart 1 hour earlier than all other days. This allowed a couple of shots in the far west which could not be done on any other day.

Seeing double at Par Harbour

After 58 years I finally got to photograph Loco action at Par Harbour on Saturday, with GBRf 66755 'Tony Berkeley OBE' arriving as 0Z46 06.57 Lostwithiel Down GDS Loop-Par Harbour, then shunting previously failed 66712 'Peterborough Power Box' and the JIAs, before later departing top and tailed as 6Z46, the 08.12 Par Harbour-Goonbarrow Junction
