The Moon, Planets & Stars at Midnight
with the Class 66 at Carne Point
Craig Munday

Craig writes to say that he was delivering the single line train staff back to Carne Point the other night following the visit of the weedkiller MPV to Carne Point. I took this shot of 66023 working 6G05 later that morning.
The night sky was well illuminated with the Moon, and Venus all shining brightly. The yard lamps helped to secure this image of the clay train stabled for the night, with just the slapping of the water and clanking yacht mast providing the audio entertainment.
Many thanks to Kev Smith for helping to enhance the image as it had some blue flare effect from the yard lights across the lens
