Caroline heads west

I popped out to Columbjohn overbridge, near Rewe yesterday to film and photograph 37418 propelling 975025 'Caroline' with the 0849 5Z55 Derby R.T.C (Network Rail) to Exeter Riverside.
However it did not go to Riverside Yard, but to Hyde Park Sidings adjacent to platform one at St. David's.

Stratton Loop, Swindon

It was drizzling when I went to the road bridge overlooking the east end of Stratton Loop, about a mile from my home to photograph 1Q23[Bristol Kingsland Road to Derby R.T.C, - Network Rail] As I missed the west-bound working the previous day [1Q22], I decided to photograph it leaving the Stratton Loop [heading eastwards] where it was booked to stop to allow 1L13 a Cardiff to Paddington consisting of units 387143 and 387152. 11.06.2026, copyright Ken Mumford.
1Q23 leaving the Loop only a minute or so after the passenger train. Interestingly, according to RTT [Real Train Times] 1Q23 started its journey between Bristol and Newport subject to 75 mph. At Newport its speed onwards was now 125 mph. NOTE - YESTERDAY according to Real Train Times [RTT] the last part of 1Q22 was restricted to 75 mph BUT the actual last section, after reversing, from BRISTOL Temple Meads [depart at 2232 - 13 EARLY] to BRISTOL Kingsland Road arrive at 2240 - 8 EARLY] the speed limit was 125 mph between those two places!
