Todays Class 37 / 175 movement
Cancelled

Last week, we provided timings for a class 37 / 175 movement to Penzance.

This working has now been cancelled.

If we receive news of it being reinstated, we will advise.

A happy and healthy New Year to all. A weekend RCTS visit to sheds on 15 February 1975 found a number of class 37s at Swansea East Dock, each attached to a brake van ready for work on the Monday. Copyright Michael Forward.

We now see 37181/37191 at Pantyffynon on 2 July 1978. I believe the headlight was fitted for locos. banking trains on the Central Wales line. Copyright Michael Forward.

Finally Michael Adam,s picture of 37254 at Cardiff Central on 20 August 1981. We are lucky to still see this engine working infrastructure monitoring trains as part of the Colas Rail fleet. Copyright Michael Adams.
