Owing to the failure of 57602 at Long Rock on Friday 03.01.2025, 57603 was sent to Penzance on the rear of Friday nights 'down' sleeper to work the coaching stock back up to London, to get things into position for Sunday night.
Included in the train was Mk3 SLEP 10563, which it is understood will be the next coach to be taken to Eastleigh for paintwork.
