Full sun at Teignmouth
Martin Scane

As it was a beautiful day, if a little chilly, we took a walk along the sea wall from Teignmouth to Parsons Tunnel this morning. Here are a few snaps.

Summer Evenings
Roger Geach

Picture
On a cold winters night, it's nice to think of warm, light, summer evenings. Not the best of pictures, but 46002 approaches Lostwithiel with 1E61 - the 1808 Penzance to Sheffield service, which conveyed lots of vans for mail. 19.07.1977, copyright Roger Geach.
Many thanks Roger, a great shot.

Some more new old photos from Roger to follow over the next few days.

Truro Tampers
Joe Birchall

Dear Jon
Today I went out to see the annual January tamper (specifically Colas DR 73907) on its way to St Erth.  I have also attached a picture of the Network Rail tamper which came down on the 2nd of January 2023.

Kind Regards
Joe

Thanks again, Guy
