Sometimes things happen for a reason. I had to move my Car to allow a Farmer access to a field and had to relocate due to the narrow lane. I stumbled on this view of the viaduct then spotted a thawed puddle. I was laid out horizontally in the frosty undergrowth to get low enough for the reflection but i think it was worth it!! 43097 'Castle Drogo leads the 2C11 10.15 Plymouth to Penzance with 43188 'Newport Castle' just out of sight on the rear. 03.01.2025, copyright Steve Clark.

Next to Menheniot. I needed a nice short train to fit the Viaduct and GWR duly obliged by rostering 150244 on Plymouth to Penzance shuttles. Here is the 150 heading East with 2P09, the 09.50 off Penzance. 03.01.2025, copyright Steve Clark.

Final shot from a good couple of hours sees 800303 at speed through Menheniot on the 1A84 10.20 Penzance to Paddington, with just 261 and a bit miles to go before reaching London!! My drive home for a spot of lunch was mostly in cloud before duty calls for a shopping trip to Truro in the afternoon!! 03.01.2025, copyright Steve Clark.
Many thanks indeed, Steve - some great shots in some lovely winter light, well done.

Many thanks Joe, fortunate timing for you.
