Hi Roger, Keith & Jon
Typical NMT weather conditions yet again, but ventured out to record 1Q18 and the incoming 1C55 from London Paddington, the lineside vegetation between Marazion and St Erth is currently being strimmed back, hopefully photographic conditions might improve soon too!
All the Best
Andrew

A Cornish Connection
Roger Geach

Morning,

I took this picture at Milford junction (or as some know it as the village name, Monks Fryston Yorks, north of Ferrybridge).

31439 is on a special Bescot to Selby working, which conveyed seaweed from Falmouth Docks.

I don't know how long this flow lasted, only a short term I think. No doubt worked from St Blazey to Bescot on the Enterprise service which also conveyed clay of course.

Did anyone photograph these workings in Cornwall at the time, or can anyone provide a bit more info on the flow?

Thanks

Roger Geach

Thanks Roger, from searching the archives I found a couple of articles about the seaweed:
