Making the most of a stormy winter day as the Class 70s rule the roost in Cornwall on engineering trains by      Roger Winnen.
Being unavailable last weekend for photographing most of these trains, this weekend was a must whatever the weather. With a bus replacement service running I departed Penzance at 07.37 to Truro where a Class 70 was in the yard, just time to photograph before catching the replacement Coach to Par , on arrival it was a full force gale and with no reported sightings of engineers trains, I hastly boarded the Voyager service to Plymouth where I bumped into a friend who kindly supplied all the information that I required. After photos at Plymouth I returned to Par for my 4th Class 70 of the day before returning home. It was a good day despite the weather. Many Thanks to Steve Andrews
