Chris Bellett drew my attention to an error on one of our pictures - the orientation was wrong. Since then he has had further thoughts - any ideas please.

Since my original email I have been looking at the photograph in more detail and I am not convinced it is Helston. I have some diagrams of the layout and interlocking of both the original lever frame and of the replacement installed in 1958 and they do not tie up with the photograph. There are 10 working levers before the space at the left hand end but Helston only ever had 8 working levers at that end. It’s not Nancegollan, Praze Ground Frame nor Gwinear Road either.

This picture attributed to the late Patrick English a very much respected former member of the Cornwall Railway Society. Was it actually taken by him or is it a look alike, we'll never know?
