The Belmond Pullman
In Cornwall
The Belmont Pullman made several passes through the county today - we'll try to put them on in the order they occurred.

Definitely a posed picture! A copy of a very old picture found in a garage at Callington. It was, as suggested, taken at Gwinear Road. Kindly sent in by Lawrence Parker.
Comment from Roy Hart - Burma, today.  An expansion of the picture shows that the main line has been 'narrowed' - it looks like fresh ballast, so the work could have been recent: this would put the scene at about 1893, I'd say.  Many thanks Roy.
What do you call a 'Nine Header' ?
John Cornelius
We recently featured several pictures of triple headed  trains,  just to prove that our miniature railways can even beat that by a factor of three again. John Cornelius sends us this picture of no less than nine locos on one train on the Romney, Hythe, and Dymchurch Railway. Can any other railway beat that.  Sorry it is well out of our normal region but proves that 'Little railways can do large things'! Many thanks John
