GBRF's 66777 'Annette' departing Westbury on 6M40 1156 Westbury-Stud Farm empty ballast boxes today, 16th.  The area between Hawkeridge Junction and Westbury North Jctn has recently been cleared of vegetation giving views that have not been possible since the 1960s. How long before nature again reclaims though?
Best regards Guy Vincent.    Many thanks indeed Guy.

Visit to Long Rock T.M.D

On Saturday last members of the Cornwall Railway Society visited the Long Rock Depot, the third visit since the start of the expansion to the depot.
It was quite remarkable to see the completed work done to equip this depot to the 21st Century standards to handle work that was once carried out at Old Oak Common.  Cornwall Council has been very generous with funding together with ECC Development grants.  Many thanks must go to Patrick Grobbelaar the Depot Manager for giving us these guided tours and for giving up his free time on a Saturday afternoon
