Keith, Whilst we are used to seeing Class 143’s operating as a single unit or in pairs it is unusual to see three altogether. 143603 leads 143618 and 143611 working the 1022 5Z73 Exeter(Central) – Exmouth Junction – Exeter (St David’s) ECS working. The units reached Exeter (Central) after working the 0913 2Z73 Paignton – Exeter (Central).
This working was one of the special services operated during the current strike. The other workings around Exeter have been pairs of 150’s.
