Here is 47524 at Burngullow with the 1215 Penzance to Paddington vans on 27.09.1993, back when Burngullow was still single line.

Sunday afternoon 30/11/25 and a trip from Ivybridge to Dawlish. 43098 is first seen at Dawlish on the rear of the 2E13 11.49 Penzance - Exeter St Davids. Later it is seen arriving with the 2C32 15.27 Exeter St Davids - Penzance. The other power car was 43187. The sun is setting on the HSTs down our way so I've included my literal interpretation with a view from 2C32 ascending Rattery.
