Cattle on the line
Roger Salter

Early on Saturday morning the 1A78 0710 Penzance-Paddington train, no.802019, was terminated at Plymouth after being halted at Marazion bridge for 74 minutes because of cattle from the marshes escaping onto the line.

The Night Riviera was held at St Erth, eventually reaching Penzance 162 mins late, many other services were cancelled.
