I came across these views whilst scanning a Bristol related item for elsewhere, but thought they may be of use in the Cornwall Railway Society archive (no doubt submitted in colour on the day). I also thought these images could be of interest especially as Saturday marked the final Pathfinder Tour's train operating day after over 50 years of providing passenger trips. It must also be remembered that they provided much enjoyment line side for those recording the trips with the often interesting motive power and trains, sometimes seen in unusual locations.

On 30th June 2001, Pathfinder Tour's 'Cornwall' tour (1Z38 06.18 Worcester Foregate St. - Penzance and 1Z39 15.49 return) was worked throughout by Class 50 locos 50049 + 50031 both being unnamed and carrying original numbers 449 and 431 (the former also with what appears to be a central body side English Electric Leasing plate?). The train is seen after arrival in platform 1 Penzance at 13.49. Copyright Richard Giles.
