Class 70s used for Burngullow PW

70801 was deployed for route learning duties between Plymouth and Par in connection with engineering works at Burngullow, the class 70 is seen at Plymouth after arrival from Westbury on Tuesday 26th January and worked several trips to Par, stabling overnight in Pak Sidings before heading back to Westbury on the afternoon of 28th January 2016. 70808 stands at Trewoon on the A3058 road bridge with a rake of side tippers as part of the engineering works at Burngullow, once the ballast was unloaded the train worked forward to St Austell to collect Coalfish wagons that had been stabled in the down platform using the ground frame before working forward as 6C20 to Westbury arriving some 120 minutes late due to flooding in the Taunton area on 6th January 2016.
