47807 arrives at Plymouth station with 1V50 The Glasgow - Penzance on 08.08.2001 . 47807 was named 'The Lion of Vienna' after footballer Nat Lofthouse. It survives today, rebuilt as 57304. Copyright Roger Geach.

Leaving work with the sun shining, I thought I would head down to Golant. On the way there the sun turned to rain, and then to cloud. That did mean I could again take a shot from the opposite side of the causeway though, something which isn't possible with the sun out. 66025 heads away from Fowey a little after 18:00. At Treesmill, the sun came back out again! 66025 has run round at Lostwithiel and heads for St. Blazey to drop off a few wagons for the Par Harbour or Treviscoe trip in the morning. Copyright Jon Hird.

The train was held outside Par for an 'up' train to depart, which meant I was able to get ahead of it. Here it straddles the crossing at Middleway before pushing back into the yard to drop off wagons. Copyright Jon Hird.
