Happy birthday Roger!

Picture
Our warmest birthday wishes to Roger Winnen - our vice president, events secretary, assisting webmaster and general oracle of all things railway!

80 years young today - happy birthday Roger and thanks for all you do for the CRS!

A creamery question - can you help?
Michael West

Hallo,  Not strictly railway material but I'm interested in the big 6- Bay scalloped roofed bottling building built on the Creamery site next to the railway at St Erth in the 1950s. I think Mr Oates of Primrose Dairies may have sold the business to St Ivel ( United Dairies?) by then, though I suspect he may be the reason for such a striking looking building.

Does anyone know anything about it or have photos of it at any time?

Many thanks, Michael - an interesting question, surely somebody knows? Please drop us an email to [email protected] if you have any clues.
