CRS Visit the Lynton & Barnstaple Steam Gala

The Lynton & Barnstaple steam gala promises to be a great closure to the 2025 heritage railway calendar. An intensive timetable and a wide selection of steam locomotives will keep everybody entertained.

'The Britannic Explorer' visits Cornwall

The second run to Cornwall of Belmonds new luxury train, 'The Britannic Explorer' occured yesterday, 20.09.2025. The train ran from Bishops Lydeard to Penzance double headed by 66701 and 66744. Later in the evening, the train ran top and tailed Penzance - Fowey via lostwithiel.

This morning, 21.09, the train will leave Fowey and head east for an overnight stop on the East Somerset Railway. Times and details in our Railtour Calendar.

To our surprise, the train came to a stand at Golant which allowed a few more shots of the train.
