The North Cornwall Miniature Railway
Open Day
Feature to follow

A few members made the trip over to North Cornwall on Sunday 06.04 to visit the North Cornwall Miniature Railway. We were made most welcome and a very enjoyable day was had. More photos will follow, but here is a selection to get started.

More of the NCMR
Andrew & Diane Jones

Dear Jon, Keith and Roger, please find attached a couple of photos taken at the North Cornwall miniature railway today 6th April 2025.

The railway only opens on 4 occasions a year and is an absolute delight.

Locomotive 'Trispen' is seen running the 13.05 service around the extensive circuit much to the enjoyment of the large gathering supporting the local Hospice fundraising.

Next event is due on the 22nd June and I am looking forward to re visiting.
Very well done to Bob Lanaway and his numerous assistants who's hospitality is second to none!

P.s.lovely to meet you Jon, please keep up the good work.

Very best wishes Andrew and Diane

Sunday Service

66127 passes beneath the Treffy Aqueduct with 16 empty JIA's bound for Goonbarrow. The practice of running the empties up the branch on a Sunday under daylight is of great benefit to enthusiasts and photographers.
