Bodmin Railway
Volunteer Open Day - 06.04.2024

From Bodmin Railway:
Are you interested in volunteering for a heritage steam railway? Or perhaps you have some spare time you are looking to fill while keeping your skills up-to-date and meeting new people. Our volunteer workforce is the beating heart of Bodmin Railway. Here at the station, we have a plethora of jobs that we always need help with, from sign writing, to steam footplate crew, to hospitality and Booking Office staff, to office administration help.

Just because we specialise in locomotives, please do not forget that we also need those who specialise in specific trades, such as plumbing, electricians, carpenters, or even horticulture. Those who have passions for IT or technology would be of tremendous help with the running of our ticketing systems, marketing, or any IT issues our staff may face.

We would also love to take on volunteers with a passion for photography and videography to help out with content creation, marketing material, and photographing events.

However you can help, in whatever way and for however long, we would love your help! Enrich your life by enriching others through volunteering.
