The CRS headboard takes a trip

With grateful thanks to the Bodmin Railway, our headboard took a trip to Bodmin Parkway on 08444 on Sunday 10:00 round trip. The train passes the site of Walker Lines sidings on its way down the branch. 26.04.2026, copyright Jon Hird.

All change at Lappa Valley

The Lappa Valley have altered the lay of the land at their terminus quite significantly since our last visit. The old station buildings, original from the early days, have now been demolished. A new platform has been constructed behind the indoor play area. Trains now run in anti clockwise around the boating lake. ‘Muffin’ (minus cab roof) works the last train of the day. The twin-track 'mainline' is on the formation of the Newquay - Perranporth branch. 26.04.2026, copyright Jon Hird.
