Night time ballast drops in the West Country, 66791 the ex-Swedish euro class 66 is on long term hire to Colas Rail and worked 6C41 19:31 Westbury to Westbury via Exeter Riverside Yard where the train ran round its train off auto ballasters hidden from view by the the long stored EWS coal hoppers on 16/04/24. The following evening 66791 worked 6C42 Westbury to Westbury via Exeter Riverside and Bristol Temple Meads dropping ballast between Cogload Junction and Parson Street, the train is pictured at Taunton awaiting Network Staff on 17/04/24. Copyright Driver Alan Peters.
The next night 66791 was again on ballast duty with 6C43 Westbury to Westbury via Plymouth and is seen awaiting to to depart Westbury Down yard on 18/04/24. Copyright Driver Alan Peters
