Hello Keith I'd noticed that the 6G05 Fowey to Goonbarrow landed at Goonbarrow at 08.56 as opposed to its usual 06.40 scheduled arrival. This meant a sunny departure - almost in its former slot of 09.50 back from Goonbarrow. 6G08 duly followed 1A81 from Par (just as it used to), and passed Milltown around 10.15. A quick dash to the bucolic setting of St Winnow to capture the train along the river.
The sun hadn't quite burned off the mist unfortunately, so the usual crispness of the river photos is missing. There is a distinct Autumnal feel to these shots despite the sunny weather.

A different and unusual view of St Winnow Church on the east bank of the river whilst there is enough water in the estuary to provide a reflection of 6G8 as it trundles towards Carne Point at about 10.15 on the 4th September 2014.
