Another loco / crew refresher run ran yesterday from Crewe to Bristol and back. This utilised Locomotive Services Ltd's immaculate class 37 number 37688 'Great Rocks' which spent just over an hour in the short siding at the east end of platform 5 before heading back to Crewe.

Yesterdays Network Rail NMT from Reading Triangle Sidings starting on time at 06.11 passing Carn Brea at 11.03 arriving Penzance at 11.22. On its return it departed Penzance at 12.00 passing Apex Bridge at 12.33 arriving at Paignton on time at 15.29. A comprehensive report by Mick House.
