Because the Severn Tunnel is closed [for maintenance?] trains between South Wales and Swindon are being diverted between Severn Tunnel Junction and Swindon via Chepstow, Gloucester and kemble.

The summer evenings enable one a chance to video the Network Rail test train that operates once a quarter to Salisbury.
At around 2115 along with Keith Turley we photographed 37175 propelling the 2053 Exeter (Riverside Yard) to Salisbury and return. After a punctual start it appears to have been delayed in platform one at St David's for 14 minutes.
