Exeter Central

Today saw the National Rail Measurement Train go into the Bay Platform at Exeter Central this being possibly the first locomotive since 2nd June 2016.

Big Cats at Salisbury

We now see 50028 ‘Tiger ‘ with the 14.15 terminating service from Waterloo,the coaches are the four TC units 8001/8002. Copyright Michael Forward

Above, the Merehead Quarry to Wootton Bassett stone train which goes to the Cocklebury area just east of the station for the loco to run around and then take the train to its destination.  It was stopped in the centre road for about 3 minutes before route indicator lights allowed it forward.
