Today saw the National Rail Measurement Train go into the Bay Platform at Exeter Central this being possibly the first locomotive since 2nd June 2016.

Above, the Merehead Quarry to Wootton Bassett stone train which goes to the Cocklebury area just east of the station for the loco to run around and then take the train to its destination. It was stopped in the centre road for about 3 minutes before route indicator lights allowed it forward.
