Didcot North Jct.
Roger Geach

Nice shot of a 33 at Oxford. While unusual they did work through to Oxford more then people may think. I used to go to Didcot North Jct. quite often in the 80's and often saw a 33 on a visit.

From memory I think there was a evening parcel train that ran from Redill to Preston that often had a 33 to Oxford or further north.

They were not unknown on cross country passengers either.

Loved the TOPS film is that not,  Mike Goosey who worked at St Blazey tops and also shown the lady at Truro Travel centre , don't know her name. For the record here's that link again.
