Bodriggy Rd bridge

Some more progress today, pictures in the attached folder. lots of noise last night as they continued breaking out concrete on each pier and lifted out the old cast iron sections. Woke up this morning and the bridge was gone!

While Engineering Works trains are the main attraction in the west and far west Ken Mumford brings us views of steam activity at Swindon and Kemble.

7029 Clun Castle Swindon [1] 5th March 2022 Copyright Ken Mumford. Note by Ken - 7029 had passed Wootton Bassett Junction 3 minutes EARLY. Should have stopped at Rushey Platt BUT passed 7 minbtues EARLY and stopped alongside platform 3 instead of passing through. Left Swindon in a dramatic style 1 minute EARLY but passed Highworth Junction 5 mintues LATE - BUT WHAT A TYPICAL 4-cylinder locomotive start - where was Peter Handford?

Kemble Steam
After seeing 7029 at Swindon i headed for Kemble where 60103 was to stop for water.
[1] The tanker - LARKINS with THE DARLING BUDS OF MAY slogans in various places on the tanker!
[2] to [4] various shots at Kemble - easily 100 people there!
