Under a special arrangement I was able to view the workings of Lostwithiel Signal Box which spanned the area covered by the former Largin, Bodmin Road Box, Treverrin and Lostwithiel. Many thanks

80 minutes at
Norton Fitzwarren
Bill Elston

I paid a visit to Norton Fitzwarren today (2nd November 2020) and was rewarded with the following,

First, the Devonport to Crewe Coal sidings flask train led by DRS 66304 and tailed by 66301 ‘Kingmoor TMD’
Secondly, a lengthy spoil train leaving the Norton Fitzwarren Triangle for Fairwater Yd, headed by 66509 and tailed by   66533
Finally the RHTT with 66151 and 66155, now decidedly grubby. These three workings within the space of around 80 minutes.
 Best regards,  Bill

Many thanks Bill - time well spent.

Nuclear Flask passes
Ivybridge
Clive Smith

DRS 66304 leads a nuclear flask with 66301 behind on the 6Z30 07.48 Devonport Royal Dockyard - Crewe Coal Sidings approaching Harford Bridge west of Ivybridge at 09.07 running 10 minutes late. I was very lucky to capture this in a minute of watery sunshine during endless gloom.
One of the train crew clearly needs sustenance for the journey north. Snacks on the tracks !
Regards, Clive Smith
