Some pictures taken by my son Scott Peters who was involved with the last Cross Country Farewell HST charter to the Swanage Railway on 26th September 2023 working the train as Train Manager on the return leg between Bournemouth and Derby, but was able to spend the day on the train to enjoy Swanage.
The idyllic view of Swanage station with HST power car 43007 in original BR livery, this could have well been a regular sight had the line not closed in 1972.
