Castle to the coast

Another Castle class HST to Paignton tonight, so I attempted for the
first time ever some night photographs at St Thomas station.

Many thanks Paul, fantastic to see the HST's still proving their worth in a time of need. I don't think I've ever seen a night shot at St. Thomas, either - you must have been rushed!

I got lucky and found some sun whilst out and about today (27.01.24)!

A little later in the day I needed to go to Plymouth. I spotted a 'castle' crossing Moorswater Viaduct as I was driving, so I took a quick detour via Trerulefoot to capture this image of 43097 leading 2P86 (Penzance - Plymouth). Copyright Jon Hird.
