Many thanks Chris - the 'dynamic livery' makes for a much better picture than dull green.

Brittania out and back
Ken Mumford and Colin Pidgeon
Oxford to Bristol.  I was at Marston Footbridge [just east of South Marston Junction - about two or so miles east of Swindon station] in good time to see the steam train.  Glad I was some 45 minutes before it was due because it passed me 38 minutes EARLY and, according to its timetable on REAL TIME TRAINS, it did not stop at Swindon but passed it using the line alongside platform 4.YET it passed Rushey Platt only 5 minutes EARLY - so what happened in the Swindon area? Christmas preparations on the B & W
Bodmin Parkway
Jon Hird

Hi Keith/Roger,
47306 was dispatched from Bodmin General to Bodmin Parkway this morning to extract 50042 from the shed where it had been enjoying its winter slumber.
Once extracted, the 50 was fired up (very quickly, with a nice clean start) and it then took the 47 back to General.
I’m told it is to act as a backup loco for the BWR’s Christmas trains.
A four pics attached, feel free to do with them as you see fit!
Best wishes, Jon Hird
