An armada (excuse the pun) of engineers trains headed to the Lipson are for another week of track work. One service was sent down to St Blazey from Westbury and stabled overnight (Friday). The side tipper ballast wagons made a heavy train for Freightliner's 66528 up next day (Sat 26th) pictured passing Budges Shop, near Trerulefoot in brilliant sunshine. 66542 was dead on  the rear.

Prior to departure, the train is seen near the gates at St Blazey, as if bound for Par Harbour!

The Cross Country HST on 24th is also pictured at Mount Charles, just evading a hail storm cloud which whisked out to sea thankfully.
Cheers Craig

Interesting scenes - especially at Par Harbour crossing. Thanks Craig.

David Tozer -
 none too pleased.
Gents.
A nice afternoon so I decided to go for a little drive and ended up at Marsh Barton.
The bad news is that photography of progress at the new station is now impossible. Yes, they have put up a lovely green shiny footbridge. So no more photos from here for a while.

Many thanks for going to Marsh Barton to see the progress - just goes to prove that you can't win everytime.
