Class 59 to Truro

Under the cover of darkness last night (24.02.24), GBRF Class 59 No. 59003 'Yeoman Highlander' brought 3 rail cranes to Truro from Westbury running as 6C21. A video of the train passing Par at 22:30 is shown below. Listen out for the semaphore 'clank' at the end!
Torbay 'Tractor'

On 24.02.24 37275 works an 09:15 Paignton - Kingswear special excursion arranged for attendees of the RMT Signalling Conference in Torbay, seen passing Goodrington. Copyright Jon Hird
I wouldn't have driven all the way up to Devon for this without a promise of sunshine, and luckily the weathermans predictions were correct. The return Kingswear - Paignton working is seen in some fantastic sunshine as the driver of 37275 'throws the power handle out the window' and opens her up wide passing the otherwise tranquil Greenway Halt. The '37' was held at Churston for 5239 'Goliath' to pass with the 10:30 service from Paignton, seen crossing Hookhills Viaduct.
A few minutes later the 37 could be heard departing Churston and soon reached the viaduct. Copyright Jon Hird.
