An invitation to visit the GWR 'Night Riviera'
Tomorrow!

You're welcome aboard our internationally renowned Night Riviera Sleeper train!

We're excited to be holding an open day for you to come and have a look inside our Night Riviera.

So if you've always wondered what to expect, make sure you come along to Penzance station this Thursday (21.03.2024) between 10:30 and 13:30.

A quick dash - one of many - to platform 4 to photograph 1L17 [Cardiff to Paddington] with emu units 387146 and 387149. Station announcer said that this train was standard class only and no refreshments BUT Real Train Times said otherwise!!! Copyright Ken Mumford.

66127 shunts 6B52 from Swindon Stores [where it arrived 82 EARLY] then slowly pushed it into the Cockleberry Sidings just east of the station. Then caught me out by departing 6 EARLY 1410 hidden by an IET in platform 4. The working was from Swindon Stores [via Cockleberry Sidings] to Llanwrn Exchange Siding a few miles east of Newport (Gwent). Copyright Ken Mumford.
