HST's How much longer?

​-  However, the main reason behind why I am writing to you is to ask if you have any information regarding how long the full formation (FGW livered) HST sets have left in Cornwall? Whilst I am from Cornwall and have managed to get a few pictures in the past, I am currently at university up country and so apart from enjoying travelling on them every time I go home, I have not had much of a chance to photograph them from the lineside. From your website and other sources is seems as though they are being rapidly replaced, but I wonder will they still be running London to Cornwall services in December? If you have any information on their withdrawal schedule that you could share with me I would very much appreciate it, as I do hope to catch a few last shots of this British icon around December time!

Roger Winnen reports - When I was at Kingsbridge a fortnight ago I bumped into Martin Duff and David King both are signalman, David mentioned to me that the full sized HSTs will be replaced most probably by March or at the latest April 2019.

N.B. A report in the Railway Magazine says all will be gone by November.
