During the summer of 1954 John Vines and family were on holiday in Cornwall. Recently Andrew Vines wrote and asked if we would be interested in a photograph taken by his father.  We said 'Yes please, have you got any more?' Andrew has since sent us his collection of his fathers invaluable photographs taken at Liskeard and down the branch for which we are most grateful. John writes -  I wonder if you’ve seen www.midlandpullman.com. If not, you may wish to put it on your webnews. No doubt the cameras will be out on 29th May! I’ve never heard of www.statesmanrail.com although they look like very well-appointed carriages. Their address is St Erth so do we know who they are or is it just a postbox?
